They are seriously , anxiously and hopelessly praying for mercy, forgiveness and second chance.
Which is not possible.

"and as it is appointed unto men once to die, after this is judgement."

Magnet yourself to the trinity.
Accept Christ Jesus now.

For it's written "power are given to those that belief in HIM [JESUS] to become the children of God"
my scripture goes further and say
"for those that belief in HIM as the only begotten son of God shall not be condemn nor be ashamed but condemnation and shame are to those that belief in HIM [JESUS] not as the only begotten son of God "
As it is in the beginning, for the world is corrupt and condemn, so also is it now.
